Chomp, chomp!

As I was getting ready to draw the winner, I looked over and saw my box sitting next to my tool tote with my Corner Chomper in full view.  So, I got the brilliant idea to chomp some corners just to show how awesome this thing is!  Here it is in action, chomping through the magnetic storage sheet, so through the magnetic layer AND heavy chipboard.  It was seriously as easy as chomping through a single sheet of patterned paper!  Plus, now my magnetic sheet stands out a little more from the rest of the box!  Love that, too!

(You can click on any of the pics to see them full-size.)  As you can see, I also have an idea book stored in my box.  This box is my ‘current’ box.  All things new and currently in use hang out here for a while and then I move them to their long-term home as I need to free up space or start working on another project.

And for the winner to receive either a Corner Chomper OR a $20 gift certificate for the Little Monkeys Shop

#10 Cindy R – “I love the idea of a corner chomper. The one I currently use only goes through one sheet of c/s, and definitely not chipboard. Just stumbled across your shop and blog and love the unmounted stamp organization system.”

Yay, Cindy!  Shoot me an email to susan@storemorestamps.com & let me know which you’d like and we’ll set things up!

PS – that idea book is next up on tomorrow’s review!

Do you need to STORE MORE DIES?

I’ve finally been able to play more with the magnetic sheets & they’re waaay better than I remembered.  Waaay better.  So, I have pictures to share with you of some of my Nesties and the new PTI dies coming out.

This was just the beginning.  Got all the circles on and waved it in the air while the boys danced around waiting for them to flutter down around them.  Didn’t happen.  Those suckers aren’t going anywhere!

Cute little Nesties.  Awww!  Oh, sorry, forgot what I was doing.  Anyway, time to load the magnetic sheets up with my goodies.  Love my ric-rac die from Papertrey Ink.  And my scallop dies.  And my stamp shapes.  And…

I didn’t stop with just these, oh no.  Slipped my dies & sheets into sleeves, put them in a box & kept on going.  I’m just showing two here since that’s how many are in a set.  Don’t want to overwhelm anyone.  Just now, anyway.  ;)

Did I mention waaay better?  Get your Magnetic Sheets now in the Little Monkeys Shop and get started on your way to store more dies!  Just to make things even more waaay better, how about a $10 coupon for all purchases over $50?  Enter the code WAAAYBETTER at checkout to use your coupon now through June 1st.

May News & Updates

First off, have you seen the exclusive color set available at All That Scraps?  Be sure to check out the new colors that coordinate with their products.  Love that you can use their colors and really highlight their stamps in your collections.  And right now, they’re on sale, too!  Awesome!

And now for the May release news you’ve been waiting for, the hints you’ve been seeing – Gardens are in bloom now that the April showers have brought lots and lots of May flowers.

yellow garden

So, let’s bring those colors inside to stay!  Without further ado, we’re happy to introduce our newest color set…
garden bloom…the Garden Bloom Set!!!

I love that there are brights and lights in this set, just like all the color variations dotting the gardens, fields, and roadsides.  Our first wave of wildflowers here in Texas, which tend to be lighter, have come and gone and now the bright, bold summer flowers are starting to pop up.  No matter where you are or what type of weather, this set is sure to make you smile. :)   Swing by the Little Monkeys Shop and get your’s today!!

Also new in the Little Monkeys Shop – we got a big batch of shrink film sheets by mistake with one of our last orders.  So, our random order is your gain!  Shrink your favorite stamps into the perfect embellishment for your layout or card with our pack of six (6) sheets of 8.5″x11″ shrink film for $4.29.  We’ll probably keep them around for good now that we have them, b/c who doesn’t love playing with shrink film?!?!  :)

More news – we will continue to offer the Tropical Getaway Set as a permanent set.  I’ve loved all the color sets so far, but just can’t get this one out of my head so we’re gonna have to keep it around.

Finally, I’ve thought about this repeatedly with past color sets, so I’m gonna ask – are there sets you’re really missing that you’d like to see back?  Do you wish they were all around longer or on a permanent basis or is it not really an issue that one goes away?  Maybe once a year we should bring them all back for a year-end review?  Hmmm…we need your help!  Let us know what you think!  We’ll make it worth your time to leave a comment, too!  ;)
