Coming Up

The next color set will be coming up soon (May is closer than it seems!) and this has me thinking about adding another mini set with that release.  This mini set is a new idea in our system so all the details are still coming together.  Basically, though, the sheets will have some kind of magnetic something for holding your light cutting/embossing dies.  I haven’t finalized things because I’m not sure whether the whole sheet should be magnetic or if magnetic strips are more important since you could place the magnet where you’d like on the page to hold the die(s) and then use the rest of the sheet for the corresponding stamps.

Aside from Nestabilities, which certainly need to be closer to my stamps, there are some really amazing dies/stamp sets coming out lately.  If you’ve been keeping tabs on the Papertrey Ink monthly releases, you definitely know what I mean!  Do you know of others that have coordinating sets?  Let me know so I can add their links at the bottom of this post, too.

So, this is where I need your help!  Which would you prefer – full magnetic sheet or magnetic strips with the usual insert?  Share your thoughts in the comments & I’ll draw two names at random to receive a complete release package!  Since I’ll need to get moving on the mini set for the release, the deadline for comments is next Wed, 03/31.  I’ll post the winners on Thur, 04/01.

Eat your Lucky Charms

The boys were excited this morning to eat their Lucky Charms, but not so excited about the green milk.  :)   Are you doing anything to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today?  Green milk and wearing green is pretty much the extent of things around here.  That’s ok, it’s the little things, right?

We’re all about GREEN at Little Monkeys, so today seems like it was meant for us to celebrate & share!

Join us to celebrate & save 17% off orders in the Little Monkeys Shop now through 03/28/10.  Fun for everyone – just enter GREEN at checkout!

Spring Break

The big boys and I are on Spring Break this week.  Finished the last of my homework this afternoon, so now it’s official for all of us!  Catching up with family in San Antonio this weekend and then who knows what the rest of the week will bring.  It’s REALLY great to be able to be off with the boys – something I’ve wanted since Aydyn started school.  So, this is just a quick update and I’ll share some pics as soon as I get them onto the computer to play with.  I hope everyone’s starting to get some spring weather, even if it’s just some sunshine for now!

Starting to feel like spring

I’m a warm weather girl and this winter has been pretty COLD, so I’m glad that it’s starting to feel like spring around here.  Still cold in the mornings but warming up nicely in the afternoons.  I’m still wearing long sleeves and jeans, though, since it’s just warmER, not warm enough.  Doesn’t take long for the chill to return in the evenings – especially when you’re a wimp like me.  The boys decided today was officially the beginning of shorts weather.  The birds have been around for a couple of weeks.  Windows open to hear yards being cut.  Definitely starting to feel like spring.
