Have a Chocolate Covered Valentine’s Day!

We’re off to a good start this morning with my chocolate covered Valentine’s Day plan! hehe The boys had heart boxes (the kind with a variety of chocolates) next to their pillows when they woke up this morning. And we had chocolate chip muffins for breakfast – with EXTRA chocolate chips.
I’ve got strawberries to dip in chocolate, stuff to make the chocolate chip cookie cake and the hot fudge sundae cake. So, I think we’re set. I don’t know that I’ll actually do all of it, though, b/c that’s A LOT of chocolate. But, that’s the plan so it will be interesting to see how far this goes. I got the impression dh was secretly very excited about all the plans, even if he was going on about too much sweets.
And now for the winner for the drawing…congrats Alissa! I’ve got a Valentine’s surprise package for you – it includes a Starter System, so let me know what kind of inserts you’d like from either the Green Set or Apple Set. OR wait until tomorrow to see what’s new! For the others, email me for a code for a 20% discount off your next order! Gotta spread the love around!
Oh, yes, also wanted to mention this chocolate covered Valentine’s Day is totally for real, but it’s partly b/c I couldn’t get something out of my head. Check in tomorrow for more details…
We’re off to basketball!

I must admit that I’m pretty pleased with that photo! I keep looking at it over and over. LOL Ok, for the recipe. I’m all about easy, but still homemade stuff, so it’s actually a Duncan Hines mix.
The boys love to help me in the kitchen, so they help a lot and mixes work well with lots of hands. When they were busy licking the spatulas, I added extra chocolate chips to the tops before I put them in the oven. I think that’s where the extra oomph! comes from. They’ve never looked or tasted so good!
