Randomness
How many stamps/stamp sets do you have? 1-2 sets? 12-15 sets? 100′s??? How many are out there that you want? This system works for those with only a few stamps and it works for those with many stamps.
I see so many great stamps each day that I can’t even keep track of some of the ones I’d really like to have in my collection. I keep notes about them for the most part, but still the list grows and grows. Not a bad problem to have, though!
The focus for Little Monkeys has always been to get your stamps off the shelves and into your workspace. If you fall into the many stamps category, you’re ultimately going to have some stamps that will need to be put away. This is where the flexibility of the system allows you to organize your stamps in the manner that works best for you and the way you work or think. Organize by manufacturer, by theme, by type, etc. You’ll be able to grab whatever category you need and get tons of stamps at your fingertips.
I will confess that I fall into the many, many stamps/stamp sets category. I don’t know exactly (and don’t think I really want to know!) but its lots and lots. I have acrylic stamps and rubber stamps. I have stamps using cushion, cling, and repositionable glue. I probably have some using double-sided tape, too. I also still have some that are wood mounted. They will be unmounted eventually. For now, though, they just fall into the I haven’t needed them since they’re seasonal category, like Christmas stamps/sets from years past. I’m a sucker for holiday stamps! I guess I could/should sell some, but *gasp!* what a thought! I love the stamps in my collection and storage isn’t an issue with this storage system. I just need to unmount them and add another box to the row and I’m ready to store more stamps!
I guess what I’m really saying is, I’m right there with you! I love my stamps and I love to use them. This system keeps my stamps right in front of me as I work. They’re safely stored, so there’s not a problem with losing a stamp like I’ve done in the past. They’re fun to flip through, too. The hard part now is deciding which stamps to use on my layouts and projects!
I’m working on a layout from our First Day of Summer fun and will share that as soon as it’s done…off to the pool with the boys first, though!
More exciting than my scrapbooking, though, is that soon we will be having a Design Team call! I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to get started! We’re getting the details finalized and then we’ll let you know all the nitty-gritty!! Thanks to those of you asking about this possibility – you really helped push it from a ‘wouldn’t that be nice’ idea to a soon-to-be reality!

I just wanted to pop in and say HI! I’ve read your company review on SCS about a dozen times, I need to start doing something about space and I think your company is what I want to use – now to get brave enough to just do it

Yay Melanie! I love that stamp set, but must admit I had to go find it because those stamps in the photo belong to one of the SCS review team – even better promotion, though!
I’ll be sure to add a link to the set in my next blog post so everyone knows how to find it!
And Patty – So glad to hear from you. I totally know what you mean! It’s so hard to push past that point sometimes. I’d like to help you try, though – so let me know if there’s some way I can help.

Wow, a design team…how fun Susan!!!! I am now at 5 storage boxes, just ordered 2 more, and might need some more soon! I am with you….on the lots and lots and lots, but don’t want to know the total #! I do know I have 90 Magnolia stamps alone, and they are proudly mounted on Little Monkeys system (2 boxes actually!!) LOL AND I know I have over 125 SU sets that need to be unmounted (UGH) and oodles of other random stamps and sets, mounted, unmounted, cling, acrylic, you name it…I either got it or WANT it!! LOL
Keep up the FAB work Susan! I love the tabs, by the way!!!!
Chris

Hi Susan,
I just put some pics of my stamps in your system on SCS
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/979662?cat=9171
I have over 500 stamp sets that I just finished unmounting. I’m down to my last box to put ez-mount on them then they are going to go in system with my others yippee!
Thank you so much for creating such a fabulous storage solution. It was the kick in the rear I needed to finally unmount all my SU sets. We are a military family and I move so much that the wood was starting to become a problem.
I LOVE the color green but I missed out on the spring colors
I’m going to order my new sets in the playground colors to help me organize by theme!
Keep up the good work and THANK YOU AGAIN!
Hugs and Blessings
Alicia
