Funky Finds – May Giveaway

The May Crafts & Hobbies giveaway you’ve all been waiting for has begun! I have 30 fabulous items to giveaway thanks to all the generous business owners who are participating.

Giveaway Guidelines:

Visit each of the businesses listed on the May giveaway page that have donated prizes. Leave a comment ON THIS POST including a link to one of your favorite items. You may enter multiple times by linking to a product by a different company in each comment. Be sure to leave your name AND email address or website link so I can contact the winners.

Winners will be chosen on June 1 using a random number generator & will then be notified by email & announced on Funky Finds.

This month’s contest begins today, May 25, and ends at midnight CST Saturday, May 31. Feel free to spread the word to all your friends so they too will have a chance to win these terrific prizes! Good luck!

The 2008 Stamping Royalty Contest information is now available on the PaperCrafts website and the June/July issue of the magazine!  I’m excited to have the Store More Stamps Starter System by Little Monkeys as part of the prize package, so be sure to enter…and win!!  I can’t wait to see all the amazing cards everyone creates – let me know if you enter!  The deadline is June 10th, though, so get your entry in sooner than later.

Here’s a quick run-down, but check the magazine or link above for ALL the details and the prize package details.

How to enter:

(1) Create an original stamped card for any occasion. Each card should feature ONE of the following techniques/mediums:

1. Masking

2. Heat embossing

3. Two-step stamping

4. Tone-on-tone stamping

5. Watercoloring

(2) On the back of each entry, include your name, address, daytime phone number, e-mail address, and a detailed description of the supplies and techniques used to make the card. Mail entries to: 2008 Stamping Royalty Card Contest, 14850 Pony Express Rd., Bluffdale, UT 84065.
Sorry, but winners of the 2007 Stamping Royalty Card Contest are ineligible to enter.

Entries must be postmarked by June 10, 2008. All entries will be judged equally based on overall appearance, creativity, and execution.

Multiple entries in one category are permitted. We will award three (3) winning cards per category. You can win in more than one category, but will receive only one prize package.

And my favorite memories at the playground are the swings and the merry-go-round.  Don’t especially like the dizzy feeling on the merry-go-round, but liked the FAST feeling! 

Introducing the new color set – the Playground Set!!!

I’m really excited about these colors – love the red, orange, yellow, green, blues (2 of them!) and purple! As before, each Playground Set will include a variety of the new colors and a green. This set really gets you in the mood for fun with your stamps, so get ready! The Playground Set has been added to the options in the Shop and we’re ready to start shipping. If you’ve been waiting patiently (or not so patiently! ) for the new colors, you’re time has come – so, have some fun!!

I’m also really excited to be able to announce the arrival of tabs for our Store More Stamps line! See this one waving hello? ha! Available in the Green Set, our tabs are ready to help take your stamp storage to the next level of organization.

I’ve put this one on the sleeve to be able to change the inserts around and be flexible, but you can use them anywhere you’d like, naturally. The folded tab should stick up about 1/2″ over the top, which give lots of room to write different categories and still be compact. The tabs are scored for easy folding with complete adhesive backing. Tabs that almost stick are annoying so these are made to be secure! As you can see below, the dots move all around the bottom of the tab to keep things from being too uniform.

Currently, our Tabs are only available in the Green Set. I’m not sure yet if we will offer them in the new Playground Set, so let me know if you’re interested since that will help with the decision.

Each package includes six tabs in a variety of color combinations for $3.99.  For anyone wanting to order a set (or sets!) of Tabs as an
individual order apart from other products, please send an email to susan@storemorestamps.com to let me know so I can work with you on reduced shipping charges.
