So long Spring!

Spring Sets, that is. Spring really is winding down here in Texas (how can that be with some of you still getting snow?!?!), but the Spring Sets are already sold out! I’m having mixed emotions about it. I really grew to love those colors, so it’s kind of sad to see them go. However…I’m already loving the next batch of colors and CAN’T WAIT for you to see them and fall in love, too!

The next color set – Playground Set – will be introduced May 15th here on the blog and they’ll be available that day in our shop, as well. Messages will go out to everyone on our Newsletter list, so if you are not on the list yet, get signed up today. The Playground Set colors are bright and fun and will really make you want to play, play, play with your stamps! Get ready for summer and fun times with your stamps organized so they’re ready when you need them to grab for a crop or to make a special card real quick and get back to the fun with your friends and family. :)

If you are wanting to get started with the Store More Stamps system, keep in mind that the Green Set will coordinate with the Playground Set. So, you don’t have to wait to get started – everything’s meant to work together! Please let me know if you have any questions about the system or color sets. You can post a comment here or send an email to susan@storemorestamps.com. I’ll be happy to do a FAQ post if I get a bunch!

Special Warning

Here’s my PSA for the week – 34 yr old mothers of four should probably remember they are not elementary-age school girls when playing at the playground with their children.  Injuries and high level of embarrassment are likely to occur.  Probably for all of those over the age of 20 or so, actually.  ;)

What did I do, you’re wondering?  Well…I was showing my middle son, Nathan, that random bars at the playground are great for doing flips on.  They like me to show them these kinds of great tricks – flips in the pool, headstands, etc.  I think they like me to show them these kinds of great tricks, though, for the potential to get a great video for Funniest Videos.  They sure do like that show and I’m starting to get suspicious.  Anyway, while doing said flip on the monkey bars, I neglected to account for the bar running on the ground underneath.  So, when I flipped, I smacked my tailbone HARD on the bottom bar.  HARD.  Very, very hard.  I’m moving a little slow at the moment and can’t sit for very long at a time.  Standing is better, at least for a while.  Loving Motrin.  Reminds me I need to get some more when I go out again later!

I will be shipping today still, so not to worry – I can stand up to pack orders!  :)

New month = new kits

Are you a member of any monthly kit clubs – scrapbook or other, like card making? There are two scrapbook clubs I’ve done for a long while now – over a year for each. Coordinates Collections and Cocoa Daisy. Love them both! Somehow, they’re totally different clubs and I love their differences. It’s so exciting each month turning the calendar b/c that means it’s time for new kits.

Chris and the boys like to get my packages and swap out my stuff for things they want, like a bag of chocolate chips so I’ll have to make them cookies to get my stuff back. They’re pretty tricky, too. Last October, they swiped it all and held it hostage for my birthday. Tricky, indeed! I’m the tricky one this month, though, b/c I’m adding a new one – Scarlet Lime! Do you think they’ll notice I got an extra one? I just got the Scarlet Lime kit and am in love with the exclusive stamps. I’ve got a great place all picked out to, ahem, store them. hahaha
